Lisa Bevan is a Chartered Physiotherapist offering private physiotherapy in Skye & Lochalsh.
Based in Avernish – just a few minutes from Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye Bridge, Lisa is ideally placed to help folk in South Skye and Lochalsh.
Lisa has clients from all over Scotland as well as from the North and West of Skye.
Prior to settling in the Highlands, Lisa has worked for many years as a physiotherapist treating a wide diversity of the community; from elite sportspersons, general population with a variety of aches, pains and injuries, to both ends of the age spectrum with mobility or growth problems.
Lisa has also worked as a clinical educator and examiner at a post graduate level.
Lisa aims to use her experience to improve the physical wellbeing of her patients subsequently improving their quality of life.
Lisa offers appointments face to face, via video link or over the telephone.

Physiotherpay involves the detailed analysis of an injury or symptom, correcting problems that may have caused it, as well as treating the resulting damaged tissues.
Following a careful history taking and assessment of your condition, your physiotherapist will use a selection of modalities which may include manual (hands on) treatment techniques, manipulation and mobilisation of tissues and joints, biomechanics correction, exercise and movement pattern retraining, advice, electrotherapy, soft tissue massage and correctional taping.
